Ambrosia, food of the gods, but add some cool whip and marshmallows and you’ve got a tasty treat for everyone to enjoy, on a stick!
They're back! Those zany kids who brought you Wacky Pie are back in the kitchen whipping up some more good and tasty fun with Ambrosia on a stick
“Is that me? Do I do that?”
Ambrosia on a stick is a study of how the social impediments and compulsions of Ripe’s characters, those that exist in everyone to a certain degree, can affect the way they communicate and act towards each other. The results are a sticky mess of fun that will make you giggle with delight and ponder the human condition at the same time!
Ripe is a company comprised of writers, directors, performers and artists of original work based on social commentary. It is our mission to inspire community and self-realization. By utilizing local artists, Ripe hopes to bring forth a conscious level of social awareness and respect for all elements of the human condition.

*Note: This show opened two days after September 11, 2001. It was a hard dicision as to whether or not we should open. But the show must go on. And our audiences were greatful. Most of the comments we heard afterwards we thank yous. "Thank you for making me laugh again." "Thank you for letting me escape."" Thank you for being artists." We dedicated the entire run to the victims of 9/11 and their families and collected donations for the Red Cross.
